The climate in Chania is typically Mediterranean.
The winter season is a damp, rainy winter (November - April).
In the town area snows rarely and when this happenw is only
for few minutes. Even this season there are many sunny days.
In Friday 13th of February (2004) was the strongest snowstorm
in Chania town for the last 100 years! Just have a look at
the below pictures. This is not a scandinavian town of North,
it is Chania town during this strong snowstorm.
